MEP Made in Indiana program registers 124 manufacturers
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — In less than a year, Purdue University's Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) has registered 124 Indiana companies in its Made in Indiana program.
Made in Indiana, launched in March, highlights the contributions Indiana manufacturing makes to the state's economy and raises awareness of the products made in Indiana.
The program includes a spotlight page on MEP's website and social media platforms.
"Indiana is one of the top manufacturing states in America," said Dave Snow, Purdue MEP director. "Indiana manufacturing contributes to the state's economy, and we're proud to feature these companies that are customer focused, forward thinking, continuously improving their productivity, and aiming to grow. We hope to double the number of companies featured through Made in Indiana during 2013."
Indiana manufacturers can be included in Made in Indiana with a profile page at no cost. The page features the company's products and services with photos and contact information. MEP also will feature an Indiana manufacturer each week on the page, which can be found at http://www.mep.purdue.edu/made/default.aspx
Companies can sign up to be listed on the website at http://www.mep.purdue.edu/made/register.aspx
