WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Officials who administer adult education or alternative education programs, all K-12 schools and school districts could find funding resources from public and private foundations, corporations, family trusts, and state and federal sources in a grant directory with more than 3,000 records.

Schoolhouse Partners LLC has published the 10th edition of Funding Sources for K-12 Education, which is available through the company's website, Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble bookstores, EBSCO Information Services, Ingram Books and YBP Library Services. Schoolhouse Partners is based in the Purdue Research Park of West Lafayette.

Louis S. Schafer, editorial director, said there are more than 1,150 subjects in the directory, including art education, civil and human rights, health and safety education, literacy, parental involvement, religion, school-to-work transition, teacher education and youth violence.

"School officials, teachers and program administrators must not only adapt to new federal or state legislation that oversees education standards, but they also must find and implement the newest resources that could strengthen a student's interest in learning," he said. "Some grants in the directory address adult basic education, basic research, cultural outreach, materials and equipment acquisition, scholarships, technical assistance and vocational education."

All records are listed in three indices: by geography, program type and subject. Records include grant title; description; requirements; award amount; application deadline; contact information, including phone, fax, email and Internet address; sponsor name and address; and samples of awarded grants.

All records in Funding Sources for K-12 Education and Schoolhouse Partners' eight other directories are available on GrantSelect, the company's subscription-based online database.
