College of Pharmacy names 2012 distinguished alumni

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Purdue University's College of Pharmacy honored its 2012 distinguished alumni on Friday (Nov. 9).
The college awarded the distinction to Todd Chermak, Mary Kuhn, Rick Rondinelli and Mary Westrick.
*Chermak, of Lake Forest, Ill., is divisional vice president of global regulatory affairs for Abbott Laboratories. He earned his bachelor's degree in pharmacy in 1994.
*Kuhn, of Fuquay Varina, N.C., is president of Grifols Inc. She earned her bachelor's degree in pharmacy in 1982.
*Rondinelli, of Chesterton, Ind., is president and owner of In Touch Pharmaceuticals. He earned his bachelor's degree in pharmacy in 1980.
*Westrick, of Overland Park, Kan., is vice president for clinical research at Quintiles Inc. She earned her bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees in 1978, 1980 and 1983, respectively.
