WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue University's Krannert School of Management ranks in the top 15 of U.S. business schools with a major international influence.

Krannert ranked No. 14 and was granted a "five palms" rating by Eduniversal, the highest rating offered by the European-based online higher education selection tool. Schools on the list could rate from two palms - considered a good business school with regional influence - to five palms - universal business schools with major international influence.

Rankings were based on votes from deans in schools across the country as well as evaluations by Eduniversal's 12-member International Scientific Committee. The committee, which included education experts from five continents, ranked schools based on each university's accreditations, participation in international academic associations and similar criteria.

The votes for the 2008 rankings were compiled between October 2007 and March 2008.
