David Burford, Robert Parker and Randy McDonald

David Burford, Robert Parker and Randy McDonald (all Operations and Maintenance): David Burford, Robert Parker and Randy McDonald all deserve special recognition for the tireless effort they gave to restore the cooling in the Dick and Sandy Dauch Alumni Center during one of the hottest weeks of the summer. Due to a necessary construction project, the air conditioning was turned off for three days in several buildings on campus, one of them being the Dauch Alumni Center. Office temperatures exceeded 90 degrees inside the facility. Dave, Bob and Randy did their best to prepare for this situation. They responded with a Kool Wave machine to protect the catering kitchen equipment from overheating and quickly restored cooling the building in a very timely fashion. Thank you to them working so swiftly to remove the interior heat wave we experienced during this time. -- Michelle McBrite (Dauch Alumni Center)
