Kayla Steckel

Kayla Steckel (Digital Education): Steckel worked with Debbie Runshe and Dr. Kim Kinzig to create videos for the new FutureLearn course. Purdue recently launched a partnership with FutureLearn, a MOOC provider. Steckel worked with Debbie (the instructional designer) and Kim (faculty) to create top-notch videos for Kim's course titled "Body Weight: How Our Brain, Behavior and Genetics Influence Appetite and Food Choices." Working with a 10-day delivery notice, Steckel was able to learn and implement FutureLearn's video requirements then record, edit, render and revise 15 videos in time for the submission deadline. During that time she overcame many obstacles to create exemplary videos for a course that will represent Purdue to a very large global audience. Her dedication and commitment to quality enabled this course to come to fruition with high standards. Thank you for your work, Steckel! -- Thad Blossom (Digital Education)
