Kevin Thedans and team, Chris Marks, Purdue Fire Department

Kevin Thedans and response team (Radiological and Environmental Management), Chris Marks (Purdue Water Works), Purdue Fire Department: Purdue Athletics would like to recognize the efforts of Kevin Thedans and his response team for their quick and knowledgeable reaction to the broken water line that flooded Holloway Gymnasium, the lower level of the Brees Academic Center and a portion of Mackey Arena. Their experience and response limited damage to the extent possible, and undoubtedly saved countless dollars and labor hours as we move forward with a full recovery of building use. Chris Marks from the Campus Water Department and some of the PUFD provided key help, as well. A big “Thumbs Up” to all that were involved. -- Steve Simmerman, senior associate athletics director - facilities (Intercollegiate Athletics)
