Carol Horan

Carol Horan (Office of the Registrar): An important lecture room in Wetherill dropped out of service due to an electrical issue that wiped out all of the overhead lights. Carol Horan's rapid response involved finding another space for our instructors and notifying us before any classes were disrupted. After several weeks, we moved classes back to this preferred space. Within days, another electrical issue occurred. Even though this happened long past normal working hours, Carol was in the classroom checking it out for herself and moving classes around like a chess grand master. This type of rapid response is typical for Carol, who coordinates and coaches a vast network of schedule deputies throughout the university, to keep our instructional mission ticking. -- Candice Kissinger (Department of Chemistry)
