Lorraine Chafin

Lorraine Chafin (Operations and Maintenance): I submitted a work order for a light being out in Room 4186, Beering Hall, which is a huge storage room. Not only did she find that the ballast was bad and old, she found that there were six in the same condition. She took the time to change and fix all that needed to be done. Then she took additional time to collect all the extra ballasts, light bulbs and trash. She retaped all the boxes and filled a cardboard barrel up and we then called recycling to pick them up for safety purposes. This job started out with just replacing a bulb, and I feel she went over and beyond to help get the job done properly. -- Nancy McNeely (College of Education-Administration)
