Peggy Crose
Peggy Crose (Housing and Food Services): Housing and
Food Services wants to give a "Thumbs Up" to Peggy Crose, the most
recent recipient of our new
HFS ACTS award. Peggy received the award this month
for being "Focused on Learning." As a level IV food service worker,
Peggy sets a wonderful pattern for teaching student employees and others. This
year, she collaborated with students in F&N 350 to teach children in the
Purdue Children’s Choice Learning Center about healthy snacking. In addition to
this project, Peggy created a model windmill to accompany the Common Reading
Program
book themed meal in Hillenbrand dining court last August. She is currently
taking a supervision class and shares what she learns with other staff members.
Peggy is a great example of an employee who is focused on learning. -- Housing
