Council for Manager Development recognizes graduates
The Council for Manager Development program recognized 20 individuals from across campus on May 5 at a celebratory dinner in the East Faculty Lounge of Purdue Memorial Union. CMD is a two-year professional development experience for appointed administrative and professional staff members who report up through key executives of the University.
The first year of the program is devoted to meeting University executives, learning about the complexities of a large university and the leadership philosophies of Purdue's senior staff. In the second year, the group concentrates on work in self-directed teams to further research, study and develop identified issues at Purdue into a project presentation with recommendations.
