Purdue Faculty Writing Groups to begin Sept. 9

Purdue Faculty Writing Groups will kick off on Sept. 9. The small groups, which include faculty of all ranks and from many units, meet weekly so that members can read, edit and critique each other’s writing projects.

Participants report that working in a group improves their writing quality and productivity, and connects them with colleagues across disciplines. Faculty working on papers, monographs, book chapters, grant proposals and other academic writing projects are all welcome.

Those interested in joining a Purdue Faculty Writing Group may sign up via Qualtrics. This link will be open until noon Sept. 4. Groups are formed based on participants’ weekly schedules, and the Office of the Provost handles the logistics.
