Lecture to focus on untold stories of Purdue women

Local author and Purdue alumna Angie Klink will present a lecture on "A Driving Force: The Untold Stories of Purdue's Women" on April 11. This is the second in the series Discovering Lafayette, presented by WBAA public radio and Thomas Duncan Hall. The series explores the history, literature and arts of Greater Lafayette.

The lecture will be at 7 p.m. in Duncan Hall, 619 Ferry St., Lafayette. From 6 to 7 p.m., attendees may meet the author during a wine and hors d’oeuvres reception and book signing.

Klink's talk will focus on the dynamic influence of Purdue’s women reflected in her books "The Dean’s Bible" and "Divided Paths, Common Ground," and other extensive independent research.

Klink has a bachelor's degree from Purdue's Brian Lamb School of Communication. She writes biographies, histories, documentaries, children’s books, essays and advertising copy.
