Information session on U.S. Fulbright Faculty Award Program set for Wednesday
The Office of the Provost is holding an information session and faculty roundtable on the U.S. Fulbright Faculty Award Program on Wednesday (Feb. 14). Faculty should RSVP by Friday (Feb. 9).
The session will be led by Aferdita Krasniqi of the Institute of International Education and followed by an informal Q&A session with recent faculty Fulbright awardees from four colleges at Purdue. The information session will be 10:30-11:30 a.m., and the informal Q&A will be 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Both will take place in Grissom Hall, Room 102.
Krasniqi is as an outreach and recruitment analyst for the Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program at the Institute of International Education in New York City. Before her time with IIE, Krasniqi worked for 17 years for the United States Embassy in Kosovo as cultural exchanges advisor.
Purdue faculty participating in the informal Q&A include:
* Joseph Balagtas, associate professor of agricultural economics.
* Tracey Jean Boisseau, associate professor of women’s, gender and sexuality studies.
* Christopher Lukasik, associate professor of English.
* Stefan Paula, associate professor of practice -- biochemistry.
* Juan Wachs, associate professor of industrial engineering.
