Graduate student symposium on education-related research coming; roundtable, poster submissions invited

The Annual Graduate Student Education Research Symposium is coming March 26, hosted by the Graduate Student Education Council and the College of Education. This year's theme, "Connection, Collaboration, Innovation: Creating Shared Visions for Educators," highlights the benefit that interdisciplinary collaborations introduce by providing innovative approaches to solving issues facing education.

Graduate students in all disciplines with education-related research are invited to submit proposals for the symposium's roundtable session and two poster sessions. They will compete for awards in several categories. The deadline to submit is 11:59 p.m. Feb. 17.

The symposium, often referred to as AGSERS, will begin at 1 p.m. on the third floor of Stewart Center. The keynote will be given at 4:30 p.m. by Charles M. Reigeluth, professor emeritus of instructional systems technology at Indiana University.

The event is free and open to the public. More information is available at http://purduegsec.weebly.com/agsers-2018.html.
