University facilities reducing hours during winter break

During winter break, many campus offices and services will have reduced hours of operations. These reduced hours will be in effect at various locations across campus from Dec. 14 through Jan. 5.

Nearly all campus operations will be closed on the University holidays of Dec. 25, Dec. 26, Jan. 1 and Jan. 2. Most closures will apply also to the winter recess days of Dec. 27-29.   

Purdue Memorial Union and Stewart Center will maintain nearly all standard building hours until closing at 5 p.m. Dec. 22. Both buildings will be closed Dec. 23-Jan. 2. The Union will reopen at 5:30 a.m. Jan. 3 and Stewart Center will reopen at 7:30 a.m. Jan. 3. The Union Club Hotel will close at 1 p.m. on Dec. 22 through Jan. 1. It will reopen at 1 p.m. Jan. 2 and continue regular operation hours. Winter break hours of specific services and venues within these buildings are here. Purdue University Libraries: Most campus libraries will be closed Dec. 23-Jan. 2 and Jan. 6-7. A majority of libraries and services will be open and available for student and faculty use 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Dec. 18-22 and Jan. 3-5. The Córdova Recreational Sports Center and Burke Aquatic Center will implement a reduced schedule Dec. 15-Dec. 24, Dec. 26-31, and Jan. 2-5. The centers will be closed on both Dec. 25 and Jan. 1. The climbing wall will be closed throughout winter break, Dec. 16-Jan. 5. Transportation Service and Materials Management and Distribution Services will be closed Dec. 23-Jan. 2. Normal operations will resume on Jan. 3.

The Center for Healthy Living will be closed Dec. 25, Dec. 26, Jan. 1 and Jan. 2, which are University holidays. If a need for medical consultation arises during the observed closures, contact the Anthem NurseLine at 888-279-5449 or LiveHealth Online for assistance.

Aside from the observed University holidays, the Center for Healthy Living will be open regular business hours.   

The Fidelity Investor Center in Purdue Memorial Union will close at 5 p.m. Dec. 22 and reopen Jan. 3.
