Time, location changed for Butler Center awards presentation

The Susan Bulkeley Butler Center for Leadership Excellence has changed the location for its upcoming presentations of its Violet Haas and Butler Leadership in Action awards. Winners will be recognized at 3-5 p.m. Dec. 5 in Purdue Memorial Union's Anniversary Drawing Room. Faculty and staff are invited to attend. 

The Violet Haas award recognizes individuals, programs or departments at Purdue that have facilitated the advancement of women in hiring, promotion, education and salary, or have enhanced a positive professional climate for women at the University.

The Butler Leadership in Action Award recognizes Purdue faculty, staff and students who have shown exemplary leadership within their respective areas of expertise. Whether it is through excellence in a particular field or demonstrable commitment to the success and development of other leaders, this award will acknowledge honorees’ accomplishments and professional contributions.
