Purdue brand refinement presentation provides direction, flexibility

A Purdue brand refinement initiative presentation providing direction for use of parts of the Purdue brand, such as logos and trademarks, is now available online.

The presentation was made by Purdue Marketing in September to educate the campus community on the brand refinement initiative. It provides direction on future brand modifications to simplify and provide greater flexibility for applying the Purdue brand.

The presentation can be viewed online. Presentation slides are also available for download as PDF and PowerPoint files.

Discussion in the presentation covers how to properly use the academic, nonacademic and athletic logos as well as trademark guidelines and the process for ordering promotional items from licensees.

The new brand direction is a result of brand research conducted in 2016 and a July 2017 clarification of brand governance by President Mitch Daniels.
