Campus units organizing fundraising events for United Way

Purdue employees at the West Lafayette campus are continuing to organize fundraising events for the United Way, having begun as far back as June.

Upcoming events

* The University Development Office is hosting a silent auction featuring both fun and practical items for bidding. Items are being added regularly. The auction is online. Bidding begins Monday (Oct. 2) and closes at 5 p.m. Oct. 6.

*Krannert School of Management is sponsoring a multi-consultant LuLaRoe sale on Tuesday October 10th from 12-4 in Krannert Building, Krannert Drawing Room.

* The University Development Office is hosting a silent auction featuring both fun and practical items for bidding. Items are being added regularly. The auction is online. Bidding begins Monday (Oct. 2) and closes at 5 p.m. Oct. 6.

* The College of Veterinary Medicine is hosting Puppy Cuddles from noon to 2 p.m. Oct. 11 at the Lynn Hall east entrance. Pay $1 to cuddle with a puppy and receive an entry for door prizes.

* The College of Education is hosting a silent auction featuring both fun and practical items for bidding. Items are being added regularly. The auction is online and closes at 5 p.m. Oct. 27.

* The College of Pharmacy is hosting a fundraiser from 4 to 8 p.m. Oct. 25 at Chipotle, 200 W. State St. Tell the cashier you’re there to support Purdue University United Way and 50 percent of the proceeds will go to United Way.

* Purdue’s History of Horror Tour is back this year from 7 p.m. to midnight Oct. 27. The family-friendly walking tours run every half-hour starting at Stewart Center’s Loeb Playhouse lobby. Cost is $5 per person. Attendees must register for a time online and then will pay at the door. The event is organized by Purdue University Student Life.
