Campus drone footage to be taken Saturday and Sunday

A contractor for the Office of Marketing and Media will be on campus Saturday and Sunday (Oct. 21-22) using a "drone" to obtain high-definition aerial video footage of various campus locations.

The contractor has a Federal Aviation Administration license as an unmanned aerial vehicle operator and has obtained all necessary approvals and clearances required by the university and FAA. Although there will be no interior videography as part of this project, building deputies of affected locations have been notified.
