Adult tennis programs available at Schwartz Tennis Center

Purdue's Schwartz Tennis Center will offer several fall adult tennis programs from Oct. 11 through Dec. 8. These group clinics include doubles practice and group exercise.

The three different courses will teach different levels of players and are at least one hour long.

* Tennis 101 will teach the basics and is available weekly at noon on Mondays, at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays, at 9 a.m. Thursdays or at 2 p.m. Sundays.

* Tennis 201 will refresh and review player skills and is available weekly at 1 p.m. Mondays or at 6 p.m. Thursdays.

* Tennis 301 will teach strategy and stroke production and is available weekly at 7 p.m. Mondays or at 10 a.m. or 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays.

In addition, a two-hour challenge clinic at 7 p.m. on Tuesdays will allow participants to drill and play.

Costs for the courses vary from $90 to $180 for members and $90 to $216 for nonmembers.
