Purdue Alumni Association to hold 'Purdue in the Know' symposium
Purdue Alumni Association will present "Purdue in the Know," a public symposium featuring thought-provoking visionaries, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 21 in the Purdue Memorial Union, West Faculty Lounge.
During simultaneous one-hour sessions, notable faculty and alumni will present 10-minute talks on climate change, agriculture, health, energy, and other compelling topics. Light snacks and beverages will be provided.
Tomás Diáz de la Rubia, the chief scientist and executive director of Discovery Park, will present a keynote address to all attendees. Other speakers include James Dworkin, professor of management; Jane Frankenberger, professor of agricultural and biological engineering; Leigh Raymond, professor of political science; and Zoe Nyssa, assistant professor of anthropology.
