'Skills for Performance' training opportunities for all employees announced

Employee Training and Development’s popular "Skills for Performance" training -- available to all employees with supervisor approval -- announces its offerings for April, May and June. Some courses are specifically targeted to supervisors; however, all courses are open to all employees who are interested in attending. The courses, focused on interpersonal and supervisory skills, are designed with hands-on, interactive activities to help build performance skills.

April, May and June classes are:

* Customer Service: Getting to Gold

* Skillful Collaboration

* Emotional Intelligence at Work: An Introduction

* Visual Management “What Gets Measured, Gets Done!”

* Overcoming Team dysfunctions – Introduction

* Introduction to Type and Leadership (MBTI – Type and Leadership)

The next round of course offerings will begin in August, and information will be shared closer to that time.

Each class is limited to 25 to 35 participants, depending on the room location and size. To register, employees can click the links above or use the Employee Training and Development calendar and click the “Register” links on the right-hand side for each respective course.

Questions about the “Skills for Performance” training course series can be directed to Lisa Bittles, senior instructional design and training specialist, at 765-494-1359 or via email
