Move-out sale at Freehafer set for this week

A Freehafer Hall Move-out Sale will offer a variety of office furnishings this week. On Tuesday (May 16), Purdue departments can buy items such as desks, chairs, tables, file cabinets, partitions and modular office furniture. The two following days will be a public sale.

Occupants of Freehafer have moved elsewhere, mostly in March and April, and the building is to be demolished this year. Freehafer Hall is at 401 S. Grant St.

The sale is being conducted by the Purdue University Surplus Store. Pictures of the inventory can be seen on Facebook or on the store's website. Here are some sale details:

* Tuesday (May 16): Open for Purdue departments. 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Departments should have their fund and cost center numbers to purchase and be prepared to remove items that day.

* Wednesday and Thursday (May 17-18): Open to the public. 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Payments by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. Buyers should be prepared to load their own purchases and have them removed the same day.
