'Skills for Performance' training opportunities for all employees announced

Employee Training and Development's popular "Skills for Performance" training -- available to all employees with supervisor approval -- announces its offerings for January, February and March.

Some courses are specifically targeted to supervisors; however, all courses are open to all employees who are interested in attending. The courses -- focused on interpersonal and supervisory skills – are designed with hands-on, interactive activities to help build performance skills. The 2016 offerings received overwhelming attendance and support, and therefore, early registration is recommended.

January, February and March classes are:

* Visual Management "What Gets Measured, Gets Done"

* Introduction to 5S

* Leading through Change and Transition

* Overcoming Team dysfunctions - Introduction

* Motivating Environments

* Introduction to MBTI Type and Leadership

The next round of course offerings will begin in April, and information will be shared closer to that time. Employee Training and Development will offer new topics in the coming months that cover:

* Collaboration/silo busting.

* Emotional intelligence.

* Analyzing performance.

* Working with difficult people.

Each class is limited to 25 to 35 participants, depending on the room location and size. To register, employees can click the links above or use the Employee Training and Development calendar and click the "Register" links on the right-hand side for each respective course.
