Research Communications seeking Purdue women researchers to feature for Women’s History Month

From understanding how a mosquito transmits the Zika virus to advocating for more minority representation in politics, Purdue women researchers are striving to make the world a better place.

Once again, in conjunction with Women's History Month, 31 Purdue women researchers both past and present will be featured in March on the Office of the Executive Vice President for Research and Partnerships’ social media accounts. The account, Research at Purdue, can be found on Twitter, Facebook and Google Plus.

The Office of Research Communications, which manages the EVPRP social accounts, is looking for suggestions of women faculty to feature this March. Preference will be given to women faculty members who have not been featured in the previous two years. Women from Purdue’s history may be suggested for Throwback Thursday features.

To recommend someone, contact Angie Roberts, writer/designer in ORC, at akroberts@purdue.edu, by Monday (Feb. 27). In your email, please include the faculty member’s name, her title, a brief description of her research and a recent photo.
