Purdue symposium to showcase international scholar research

The Office of International Students and Scholars announces that the Purdue International Scholar Research Symposium will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. March 8 in Neil Armstrong Hall of Engineering, Kurz Atrium. The world-class research being undertaken by international scholars at Purdue will be showcased in poster format.

This symposium is an opportunity for the Office of International Students and Scholars and other colleagues,to recognize their distinguished international scholars publicly and personally for their research and the respective faculty sponsors for their guidance and support. The symposium is intended to raise awareness of the outstanding contributions international scholars are making to a variety of academic disciplines, to Purdue and the world community.

All faculty and staff are welcome and encouraged to attend; reservations are not required.

“We are excited to share our scholars’ success and continued dedication to their research with the campus community,” says Sarah Houston, counselor for international scholars in the Office of International Students and Scholars. “This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the work they are doing and see firsthand the importance of that work.”
