Purdue Alumni Association accepting applications for Class of 2017 representative

The Purdue Alumni Association is accepting applications from students in the class of 2017 to serve on the Purdue Alumni Board of Directors. Applications are due Friday (March 24). Faculty and staff are encouraged to tell students about the opportunity.

The Purdue Alumni Board of Directors is the official governing body of the Purdue Alumni Association. It is composed of representatives from around the country who convene two times each year to discuss issues that have a direct effect on the Purdue Alumni Association, the University and its alumni.

The Class of 2017 representative serves on the board for a three-year term, representing the Class of 2017 and all young alumni. Eligibility to apply is limited to August 2016, December 2016, and May 2017 graduates.

A list of general class representative responsibilities and an application are available online. For more information, contact LaDarius Gorden, assistant director of student-alumni programs, at lgorden@purdue.edu or 765-496-6550.
