Office of Dean of Students offering Student of Concern presentations, guides

As the new semester begins, the Office of the Dean of Students reminds the Purdue community about open presentations for the Spring 2017 semester and resources available to assist in providing care to students.

Individuals who are worried about a student can complete a Student of Concern Report at www.purdue.edu/odos by clicking "Report a Student of Concern."

Student of Concern presentation: When someone has a concern for a student, completing a Student of Concern Report allows staff within the Office of the Dean of Students to provide outreach and assistance to the student. This hourlong presentation will address concerning behavior, instructions on how to report concerns, and information about what takes place after a report is submitted. Also, participants will learn about the Behavior Intervention Team. Presenters will allow time for questions and remain afterward to discuss any specific concerns attendees may have.

The first presentation of the semester will occur Wednesday (Jan. 25). Review all sessions and sign up to attend here.

Student of Concern guides: This guide serves as an easy reference of resources available to students 24 hours a day, seven days a week. To request copies for a department, office or organization, click here.
