Campus community invited to take survey about digital assets

Faculty, staff and students are invited to participate in a short survey about current digital asset usage and future needs of the Purdue campuses. Digital assets are things like photos and web images, video files, audio and sound files, documents and data sets.

The survey, which should take approximately 3-4 minutes to complete, is available at https://purdue.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_8eRFnj5szPLCfhb. Responses due by Feb. 13.

The survey is being conducted by SMART Digital Asset Repository (SMART DAR), a West Lafayette campus committee investigating the need and potential for a central digital asset repository.

A participant’s identity will remain anonymous and will not be linked to responses. The information collected will be used only to gauge the depth of current digital asset usage, and to assess the need for a centrally provided repository. For more information, email Jessica Harvey at jaharvey@purdue.edu.
