University facilities reducing hours during winter break

During winter break, campus offices and services will have reduced hours of operation. These reduced hours will be in effect at various locations from Dec. 19 through Jan. 9.

Nearly all operations will be closed on the University holidays of Dec. 23, 26 and 30 and Jan. 2.

Purdue Memorial Union and Stewart Center will maintain nearly all standard building hours until closing at 5 p.m. Dec. 22. They will be closed Dec. 23-Jan. 2. Both will reopen at 5:30 a.m. Jan. 3 and continue regular operation hours. The Union Club Hotel will close at 3 p.m. on Dec. 22 through Dec. 26. It will reopen at 2 p.m. Dec. 27 and remain open until 1 p.m. Dec. 29. It will then open at 2 p.m. Dec. 30 and continue regular operation hours.

* At least one dining venue on PMU’s ground floor is open until mid-afternoon except Dec. 23-Jan. 2.

* Union Rack and Roll is open noon-11 p.m. except Dec. 22-Jan. 5.

Purdue University Libraries: Most campus libraries will be closed Dec. 23-Jan. 2, Jan. 7-8.

A majority of libraries and services will be available 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Dec. 19-22 and Jan. 3-6. Library hours can be found at https://www.lib.purdue.edu/hoursList.

The Córdova Recreational Sports Center and Boilermaker Aquatic Center will implement a reduced schedule Dec. 17-24, Dec. 26-31 and Jan. 2-7. The centers will be closed on both Dec. 25 and Jan. 1. The Turf Recreational Exercise Center will be closed Dec. 24-Jan. 1. The climbing wall will be closed the entirety of break, Dec. 19-Jan. 8. Transportation Service and Materials Management and Distribution Services (MMDS) will be closed Dec. 23-Jan. 2. Normal operations will resume Jan. 3.

Center for Healthy Living and Fidelity Investor Center will be closed Dec. 23, Dec. 26, Dec. 30 and Jan. 2, which are University holidays. If a need for medical consultation arises during the observed closures, contact the Anthem NurseLine at 888-279-5449 or LiveHealth Online for assistance. 

Aside from the University holidays, the Center for Healthy Living will be open regular business hours, including during the winter recess scheduled for Dec. 27-29.
