Early voting available on campus; election information listed

Early voting in the general election has begun in Indiana, and in Tippecanoe County the various locations include Purdue's Stewart Center, in the west lobby, from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 20). Other locations are available on other dates.

On election day, Nov. 8, voting locations will operate from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Locations for that day include Purdue Memorial Union and the Morton Community Center, 222 N. Chauncey Ave.

Voters should be sure to carry appropriate ID such as an Indiana driver's license or federal ID with photo. Photo IDs from other states do not qualify for voting purposes under Indiana law. Students may use their Purdue ID as long as their Purdue profile is not marked "private."

Elections are being held for national, state, county, school and judicial positions. Also, Indiana has a ballot question about a proposed amendment to the state constitution.
