Sneak peek of new OneCampus employee portal now available

Purdue's OneCampus website is under development as the new employee portal for faculty and staff on the West Lafayette campus. Created using rSmart software through a partnership between ITaP and Purdue Marketing and Media, the new site will offer greater functionality, including customizable, searchable and categorized collections of tasks. Through the new interface, users will be able to do all of the same tasks they perform through the current employee portal, such as requesting leave, entering travel expenses, and viewing month-end reports, among others.

Faculty and staff can log in with their career accounts now to get a sneak preview of the new features at https://one.purdue.edu. Each user will have a custom dashboard showing recent, favorite and most popular tasks. The site also has a search bar and the option to browse tasks by category. Task icons make it easy to identify campus services and when clicked will take the user to the webpage needed to complete the task.

OneCampus also shows ratings and reviews of each task. To access reviews and task details, users can simply click on the information icon below any task. They are encouraged to rate and review tasks to facilitate continuous improvement of campus services.

New tasks are still being added. The complete transition to OneCampus is expected in early September. The current employee portal is to remain accessible at www.purdue.edu/employeeportal through January.
