Forums set for candidates for vice president for human resources position

Two candidates for the position of vice president for human resources will present at forums next week.

Faculty and staff are invited to attend. The candidates and their forum dates and times are:

* Aug. 23 (T). 3-4 p.m. Fowler Hall, Stewart Center. Lynda Dec, SPHR, chief human resource officer at the University of Maine System. Dec is a senior-level manager with extensive experience in strategic human resource management including experience in labor relations, organizational change, compensation, acquisitions, benefits, training, employee development, employee relations, compliance, staffing and more.

* Aug. 24 (W). 3-4 p.m. Fowler Hall, Stewart Center. Denny Darrow, agency director of the Indiana State Personnel Department. Darrow is a human resources professional with 20 years of leadership experience including experience in compensation, benefits, organizational development, human resource business process re-engineering, HR business process solutions, HR executive leadership and more.

Following the forums, feedback on each candidate is requested via a feedback survey, which will be active beginning Aug. 23. Feedback will be accepted until noon Monday (Aug. 29).
