Purdue University Print and Poster Exchange returning to campus

The Purdue University Print and Poster Exchange will return to campus May 19 and 20 under new management of the Purdue Graduate Student Government.

The exchange will be 11 a.m. -7 p.m. May 19 and 11 a.m.-3 p.m. May 20 in the Purdue Graduate Student Center, 504 Northwestern Ave.

The current collection contains approximately 6,000 prints, one-third of which are currently hanging throughout campus. The collection is open for lending to all Purdue faculty, staff and graduate students. Each participant is limited to two prints, plus an additional two prints when a donation is made at the door. Anyone who makes a donation will be entered for a chance to win a print of the Boilermaker Special. PUID must be current and presented at the time of lending, and borrowed items are required to be returned to the Purdue Graduate Student Center after 36 months of lending.

This year returns of currently borrowed items from the University Lending Collection can be made before the exchange at the Purdue Graduate Student Center 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday. If a borrower returns a print before the exchange and wishes to check out another print from the collection, the borrower will receive a ticket to be presented at the exchange May 19 or 20.

The program is supported by the University Visual Arts Committee, PGSG and individual Purdue employee donations.

PGSG will host a reception 5-7 p.m. May 19. Food and drink will be provided.
