Not too late to volunteer for Spring Fling

Faculty and staff can still volunteer to help with Spring Fling, the annual appreciation day for faculty, staff, graduate student staff and retirees on Wednesday (May 25).

If interested in volunteering, contact Sally Baugues at sebaugues@purdue.edu. Volunteers will receive a Spring Fling T-shirt. Spring Fling attendees, if they need assistance, will easily be able to locate a volunteer wearing the green and yellow shirts.

Spring Fling will be 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Memorial Mall. Participation in Bingo, Zumba, disc golf, yard games, the Food Finders Food Bank Food Drive and the bloodmobile does not require registration.

The bloodmobile will be present 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Memorial Mall Drive west of Stewart Center. Faculty and staff that want to donate blood can schedule an appointment online. Walk-ins are also welcome.

Collection barrels for the food drive, sponsored by Food Finders Food Bank and the Purdue University Retirees Association, will be by the newsstand in Stewart Center and by Starbucks in Purdue Memorial Union from May 9 to May 25.
