MLK Commemorative Planning Committee seeking nominations for keynote speaker for 2017 celebration

Purdue's MLK Commemorative Planning Committee is accepting nominations for the keynote speaker for the University's 2017 celebration of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Members of the Purdue community are invited to submit ideas and suggestions by completing a brief Qualtrics survey at https://purdue.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_8BXPMj8eA8mMVUx. Nominations will be accepted through April 29.

The theme of the 2017 celebration will be "The Fierce Urgency of Now." The MLK Commemorative Planning Committee is co-chaired by Renee Thomas, director of the Black Cultural Center, and Jeffrey T. Roberts, the Frederick L. Hovde Dean of the College of Science and professor of chemistry.
