Human Resources provides overview of proposed FLSA changes
The Department of Labor has published final regulations updating the Fair Labor Standards Act that raise the minimum salary for an employee to be designated as exempt from $23,660 per year to $47,476.
The new rules go into effect Dec. 1.
To provide employees with information about the new rules, Human Resources has prepared an overview and updated frequently asked questions, and additional information will be shared as it becomes known. Questions can be directed to hr@purdue.edu.
