Paper proposals sought for service-learning and international engagement journal

Proposals are being accepted for the third volume of Purdue Journal of Service-Learning and International Engagement (PJSL).

Abstracts or completed articles are accepted on a rolling basis. However, in order for an article to be published in the fall 2016 issue of the journal, an abstract or completed article should be submitted by March 1 to the journal website at http://docs.lib.purdue.edu/pjsl/. Others will be considered for the following issue in 2017.

Faculty and staff are encouraged to share this information with students who may be interested in publishing an article.

Types of articles accepted are:

* Student reflective essay is a description of a student community engagement project (2,500-3,500 words).

* Community partner snapshot is a student-authored description of a community partner/organization and the service opportunities for students and faculty (500-700 words).

* Faculty profile interview is a student-conducted interview of a faculty member involved in service-learning and/or community engagement.
