New partnership provides child care savings for Purdue families

An agreement between Purdue and Children's Creative Learning Centers (CCLC), which went into effect Monday (Feb. 1), will provide savings on child care tuition for Purdue faculty, staff and students.

Purdue families who enroll their child at a KinderCare Learning Center, Champions before- and after-school program or participating CCLC Child Care Center across the United States will save 10 percent on tuition. Since the program is nationwide, families at all Purdue campuses, as well as Purdue Extension staff, are able to benefit.

Drop-in care is available at any KinderCare nationwide and for full-time, part-time, temporary or even one-day care. Parents schedule care by contacting the center or program directly. Drop-in care is on a space-available basis by center.

CCLC is the provider at the Patty Jischke Early Care and Education Center, as well as the new child care center currently under construction; however, the on-campus centers are not participating in the tuition savings program.
