Purdue prepares for Big Ten opponents this weekend

Fall sports teams are meeting opponents in the Big Ten this weekend, and that means big intensity. Check out football and volleyball on Saturday and soccer on Sunday.

SATURDAY

Boilermaker Crossing: Purdue fans can meet the teams, play on inflatable games, get prizes, listen to live music and more at the family-friendly Boilermaker Crossing at 12:30-3 p.m. Saturday at Sally and Bob Weist Plaza between Mackey Arena and the Intercollegiate Athletic Facility's Holloway Gymnasium side. The event is free.

211° Session: The 211° Session pre-game pep rally will feature the Purdue "All-American" Marching Band, football head coach Darrell Hazell and the Boilermaker football players. The event starts at 1:19 p.m. in Mackey Arena.

Purdue football: The Boilermakers take on Minnesota at 3:30 p.m. at Ross-Ade Stadium. Ticket information is available here.

Postgame concert: The Purdue "All-American" Marching Band will perform at Slayter Center following the football game.

Volleyball (women's): The Purdue women's volleyball returns to action at 8 p.m. in a rematch with the Hoosiers. Volleyball

SUNDAY

Soccer (women's). It's senior day with ceremonies about 20 minutes before the match at 1 p.m. Sunday with Rutgers. Soccer
