Purdue participating in International Education Week

November 16, 2015

International Education Week begins today (Nov. 16), and Purdue Study Abroad will have two events to celebrate.

The week is a joint initiative between the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange.

The events at Purdue are:

* "Gringo Trails," a documentary on the impact of travel and tourism. The film will be shown at 7 p.m. Tuesday (Nov. 17) in Matthews Hall, Room 210. Students, faculty and staff are invited. Free pizza and popcorn will be provided.

* Free passport photos will be offered to all students, faculty and staff at 1-4 p.m. Wednesday (Nov. 18) in Stewart Center's west lobby.
