Confucius Institute offering Chinese language classes

The Confucius Institute at Purdue will offer Chinese language classes to faculty members, students and local residents.

Introduction to Chinese Language and Culture will meet at 6-8 p.m. every Thursday  from Jan. 21 through Feb. 25 in Rawls Hall, Room 1071.  

This noncredit course will offer an introduction to basic Chinese vocabulary and common phrases related to cultural topics. Participants are expected to be active listeners and participate in discussions.

Weekly review and course materials will be provided. They are included in the $120 registration cost.
