Purdue Board of Trustees names committees for upcoming year

The Purdue University Board of Trustees has announced its committee assignments for the current session, which runs through the 2015-17 biennium.
Each of the committees is responsible for reviewing matters that fall under its specified purview. When necessary, the committee members vote on issues that are then forwarded to the full board.
The Executive Committee will be chaired by Board of Trustees Chairman Michael Berghoff. Joining him on the committee are Tom Spurgeon, Sonny Beck, JoAnn Brouillette and Vanessa Castagna.
Serving on the Academic Affairs Committee are Brouillette (chair), Castagna, John Hardin Jr., Cameron Mann and Professor Kirk Alter (ex officio, chair of University Senate).
The Audit and Insurance Committee is composed of Hardin (chair), Brouillette and Spurgeon.
Spurgeon chairs the Compensation Committee, serving with Gary Lehman and Don Thompson.
The Finance Committee consists of Thompson (chair), Beck, Castagna and Mike Klipsch.
Making up the Physical Facilities Committee are Lehman (chair), Beck, Klipsch and Mann.
