Volunteers needed for annual Project Move Out program

April 1, 2015

Faculty, staff and student volunteers are needed to assist with the annual Project Move Out program.

Project Move Out allows students to donate items they no longer use such as food, clothing, electronics, books, furniture and luggage to families and organizations in need. The program benefits community members and helps keep used items out of landfills. Project Move Out is a collaborative effort between the Office of Civic Engagement and Leadership Development in the Office of the Dean of Students; University Residences; and the Office of University Sustainability on campus.

Project Move Out will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 8-12 at the Purdue Armory. Volunteers will sort donated items and assist agencies in collecting items during two-hour shifts. Volunteers may sign up for more than one shift.
