Transportation Service announces summer hours, early closings, new location

Transportation Service has announced summer hours, early closings in May and a new location.
Summer hours
Transportation Service is now on summer hours, which run through Sept. 8. Hours are 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday. For trips beginning before 7 a.m. Tuesday through Friday, vehicles must be picked up between 4 and 5 p.m. the day before the scheduled trip. For trips departing between 5 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Monday, vehicles must be picked up between 4 and 5 p.m. on Friday.
Early closings
* Transportation Service will close at 11:30 a.m. May 21 to allow staff to participate in Spring Fling. Vehicles must be picked up between 7 a.m. and 11:30 am.
* Transportation Service will close at 1 p.m. May 29 to move its office to the Materials Management Distribution Building (MMDC). The office will open for regular operation at the new location at 7 a.m. June 1.
New location
As of June 1, Transportation Service will be located in the Materials Management Distribution Building (MMDC). The office may be reached at 49-42114.
