Half-price sale scheduled at Purdue's surplus store

The Spring Cleaning Sale at the Purdue University Surplus Store on April 13-24 will offer a wide variety of useful items at 50 percent off.

Examples of half-price items are bicycles, chairs, desk, bookshelves and tables, but there are many more. This sale, open to the public, will take place from noon to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday for two weeks at the surplus store, 3601 Sagamore Parkway North, Suite K, in Lafayette.

At the time of purchase, Discover, MasterCard, Visa, check and cash will be accepted for payment. Quantities of sale items are limited, and purchased items must be removed on the day of purchase. Buyers are responsible for loading their own purchases. The discount applies only during the sale dates and cannot be applied to prior purchases.

Items in the 50 percent off sale do not include computers, laptops, monitors, machinery or certain other items.
