Book of Jenny: Getting in Tune with Baby
Thursday (April 30). Noon-1 p.m. Purdue Memorial Union, Room 263AB
Join other parents of young children as we explore the topic of signals or cues that babies use to communicate their wants and needs. Parents will discuss how to identify and understand why it is important to respond to their baby quickly and sensitively. This workshop is part of Parenting Counts, a research-based curriculum to support parenting, and will be presented by Kathy Murray from Purdue Extension.
The family-friendly workshops are open to faculty, staff, students and spouses/same-sex domestic partners.
Those attending are encouraged to bring lunch to eat while listening to the presentation. Time for asking questions and networking with other parents will be offered.
To register for this or any other family-friendly workshops, call 49-60312 or email familyfriendly@purdue.edu.
