Daniels to testify this morning before U.S. Senate committee; Web streaming planned

President Mitch Daniels will testify on Thursday (June 25) before the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance, emphasizing the need for quicker and more cost-effective approaches to infrastructure improvement projects.
Daniels and three others will testify beginning at 10 a.m. ET. A live stream at www.finance.senate.gov/hearings/hearing/?id=571670eb-5056-a032-52b2-d8407a6f4374 is scheduled.
Daniels is expected to tout the benefits of public-private partnerships and regulatory efficiency when approving and completing such projects.
He will be joined by Shailen Bhatt, executive director of the Colorado Department of Transportation; David Narefsky, a partner and co-leader for the Infrastructure Practice Group; and Baruch Feigenbaum, assistant director of transportation policy for the Reason Foundation.
