Applications, nominations sought for director of Regenstrief Center for Healthcare Engineering position

Purdue is inviting applications and nominations for the position of director of the Regenstrief Center for Healthcare Engineering. The center is a partnership between the Regenstrief Foundation and Purdue; it is built on a mission of research that improves health care by applying the principles of engineering, science and management to issues of national and global importance.
The director of the Regenstrief Center for Healthcare Engineering will report to the chief scientist and executive director of Discovery Park. Responsibilities support the overall mission of the Regenstrief Foundation and include establishing and implementing a strategic plan to position the center for maximum health care impact; engaging faculty and staff to achieve critical milestones; developing quality healthcare partnerships; generating significant extramural funding; gaining national and international attention to its mission; and optimizing relationships with key stakeholders including the Regenstrief Foundation.
